Removing or de-duplicating a counterpart
Delete a saved profile, clear duplicates, or unlink a counterpart from a deal.
Every person you profile in NegoDNA is saved as a counterpart in your Knowledge Graph — that's the list you see in the Deals dropdown. Here's how to tidy it up.
Delete a counterpart
- 1Open the Counterparts tool (your Knowledge Graph, where NegoDNA profiles are saved).
- 2Click the person's name in the list.
- 3Click Delete at the top-right of their profile card, and confirm.
Deleting removes the profile everywhere — including the Deals dropdown. Any deal it was attached to keeps the deal but loses the counterpart link.
Seeing someone several times?
Each NegoDNA profile is saved as a new counterpart, so profiling the same person more than once creates duplicates. Just delete the extra copies and keep the one you want.
Unlink from one deal (without deleting)
To remove a counterpart from a single deal but keep their profile, open that deal in Deals and set the counterpart dropdown to “No counterpart yet.”
