ValueBridge — find the hidden value in your deal
ValueBridge finds the NegoEconomics trades between two parties: variables that cost one side little but are worth a lot to the other — revealed only when you both agree.
Most negotiations get stuck fighting over one number — the price. ValueBridge does the opposite. It looks at all the *other* variables in your deal and finds where trading them makes the pie bigger for both sides. That asymmetric value is what Dr. Keld Jensen calls NegoEconomics: a variable that costs one party little to give, but is worth a lot to the other.
How it works
- 1Build the agenda. ValueBridge pulls the negotiable variables from your contract analysis (Analyzer), lets you upload any document — PDF, Word, Excel, CSV — right inside the tool, and suggests high-value variables that aren't in any of your documents, so you widen the agenda before you divide it.
- 2Agree what's on the table. Every variable carries one shared "on the table" definition of the exact change being valued (e.g. *"Move payment terms 30 → 90 days"*). Your counterpart agrees each one — or proposes a change — before any numbers are shared, so you always compare apples to apples.
- 3Value it privately. Each side puts their own real cost or value on every variable, plus a 1–10 importance score. These numbers are private — the other side never sees them.
- 4See the value gaps. ValueBridge compares the two sides and ranks the variables by the value a trade would create. A wide gap means a big NegoEconomics opportunity — one side can give it cheaply, the other wants it badly. The actual numbers stay hidden.
- 5Reveal in two stages — only by mutual consent. First you both agree to share just the importance scores (how much each variable matters, no money figures). Then, with a second mutual consent, you exchange the actual cost/value figures — one variable at a time, or all at once. Either side can stay private at any point.
- 6Trade sheet. ValueBridge hands you a ranked list of the trades to propose: give what's cheap for you and valuable to them; ask for what's cheap for them and valuable to you. Both sides can download the trade sheet as a branded PDF report or an Excel workbook — containing only what consent has revealed.
Why it's private
The whole point of ValueBridge is that you can find the value gaps without either side having to show its hand first. ValueBridge does the comparison for you and tells you a trade exists — but the real figures are exchanged only when you both choose to, together.
ValueBridge lives inside DealTable. Start from a deal with an attached contract analysis to seed the agenda automatically, or open it fresh and build the agenda from Dr. Jensen's variable library.
